I love ppl who defend ppl who go into military service bc they’re literally always like “Is the military good? no. Does the military constantly blow up hospitals and kill children and families and civilians? yes. Do I support that? no. Do I think that should continue? no. However, marginalized people need upward mobility in their own society so we should support their decision. Plus, like, it’s not even the soldiers doing the war crimes! it’s the generals giving the orders!”
